About the Venture Capital Program

The Venture Capital Program is an intensive 7-week training initiative focused on the intricacies of venture capital due diligence. It offers a comprehensive learning experience to participating analysts, incorporating weekly training sessions and hands-on exposure to real-world startups, culminating in the preparation and presentation of investment memos. As part of the program, we collaborate with several prominent VC funds to deliver workshops covering vital aspects of venture capital, including operational methodologies, market analysis, and strategies for approaching private market valuations.

Eligibility

Applications to the program are open to all current Oxford University students. Importantly, prior business experience is not a determining factor for selection. This program caters to a diverse audience, welcoming both newcomers to the field and those who have had some exposure and are eager to expand their knowledge.

Program Schedule

The Venture Capital Program is conducted in both the Michaelmas and Hilary Terms. The application window typically commences prior to Week 0 of the respective term, with interviews taking place in Week 1.
